Schedule of Memorial Weekend Activities in Hamilton
Beginning on Friday, May 22, Hamilton will take part in a number of Memorial Day-focused events in honor of veterans.

Memorial Day comes a bit early in 2015, so you’ll want to be aware of these events coming up later this week in Hamilton.
Friday, May 22:
School events will be held town:

- Miles River Middle School (held at the high school auditorium) -- 12:45-1:15 p.m.
- Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School (held at the high school auditorium) -- 1:25-2 p.m.
- Winthrop School -- 2:10-2:40 p.m.
Then at 5 p.m., the Memorial Day Committee will place flowers at the cemetery and flags on the graves of veterans.
Sunday, May 24:

- Coffee and breakfast at Patton Hall -- 8 a.m.
- Memorial church service at 1st Congregational Church -- veterans will assemble at 10:50 a.m.
Monday, May 25:
- Parade participants assemble at Hamilton Town Hall -- 8:30 a.m.
- Parade begins -- 8:55 a.m. (sharp)
The parade route will take marchers to the Soldier’s Monument, cemetery, the Honor Roll Monument at Town Hall and the Hamilton-Wenham Community House, with ceremonies/recognition occurring at each location. Legionnaires and guests will then return to Post 194 for a ceremony before disbanding.
