Senior Van Windshield Smashed for Second Time in Six Months
Vandals smashed the windshield on the senior van overnight - the second incident in six months.

For the second time in six months, vandals have smashed the front window of the Hamilton-Wenham Councils on Aging van.
Shared Councils on Aging Director Susan Carp said 11 seniors were scheduled for rides to medical appointments and other trips on Tuesday. They will have to either cancel their appointment or find another ride, she said.
Vandals threw a rock through the van's windshield, Carp said.

Carp said the van will be out of service for at least a day, or possibly longer, while repairs are made. She will give riders an update as more information becomes available.

In August, Carp said it may have happened between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. when she was at the Senior Center and heard a loud bang and a Volvo pulling away. In the latest incident, it is not clear exactly when it happened. Carp said she discovered it at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
