In home and nearby offerings to beat cabin fever

Are you going stir crazy thinking about another 24-hours stuck inside? Then you might have cabin-fever.

Good news! Here are some cures for that cabin-fever.

  • Shoveling, building a snowman (or other snow sculpture)
  • Make phone calls to friends and family to catch-up
  • Invite the neighbors over for hot chocolate (They have cabin fever, too.)
  • Play those board games that take all day like Monopoly and Risk
  • Stream those Oscar nominated films you’ve missed
  • Make some snow ice cream or snow maple candy.

If you really need to venture out, then you may want to consider this local offers available on Wednesday, January 28 to cure your fever.

  • Starting at 11 am North Shore YMCA locations open their doors to the public. Swim, shoot hoops, or workout for free when you mention code FAMDAY15.
  • Take your kids out for lunch or dinner to the Nintey-nine where kids eat free when local schools call a snow day.
  • SkyZone at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers will open early at 1 pm. They recommend purchasing your tickets on-line.
