Sorrento Dental Awards Scholarship to Local Ipswich Student

2015 Scholarship Recipient Announced

Ipswich, MA - Sorrento Dental, a local leading provider of quality dental care, is proud to announce the 2015 recipient of the Sorrento Scholarship Program. This year the practice has awarded a scholarship to a commendable student from Ipswich High School.

The Sorrento Scholarship Program originated as a means for Dr. James Sorrento to thank the local community for the support and success of his dental practice. This year’s recipient, Ana Friedman of Ipswich, will be pursuing a major in Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in January.

This is the practice’s third year awarding scholarships to local students, which resulted in 15 applications from students at Ipswich High School. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must demonstrate qualities of leadership, plan to attend a four-year college or university, and demonstrate financial need with a focus on a health-related degree.

Dr. Sorrento looks forward to continuing the scholarship program again in 2016.
