Tornado Warning Issued for Hamilton, Wenham

A tornado warning has been issued for Hamilton and Wenham Monday afternoon because a storm approaching the area is capable of producing a tornado.

The storm was in Wenham moving east at 25 miles per hour just before 3 p.m. The warning runs until 3:45 p.m.

Forecasters say that anyone in the path of the storm should go to a basement or interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building that is away from windows.

For anyone who is in a vehicle or outdoors, you should get to the closest shelter.
