Town Of Hamilton: Heavy Rain And Strong Winds To Arrive In Hamilton Mid-Morning Sunday

Henri will last more than 24 hours in Hamilton, with the first raindrops expected from the storm to fall between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday.

The storm could linger for up to 36 hours and there will be a slow improvement in the weather on Monday afternoon, according to a rain and wind storm warning issued for Hamilton by Precision Weather Forecasting.

By mid-morning Sunday, the early showers will turn to occasional tropical downpours associated with Henri. The heavy rain will combine with potentially damaging wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph will begin between 9 and 10 a.m. in Hamilton.
