The Town of Hamilton has declared a mandatory water ban effective immediately. For the third consecutive day the Ipswich River has fallen below levels necessary to protect stream flow for aquatic life and to ensure a sustainable drinking water supply. All outside mechanical watering is prohibited. Hand held watering only between the hours of 8:00 pm to 8:00am. These restrictions require that residents limit all non-essential water use.
