Tuesday is Another 'Red Flag' Day
The NWS has placed a red flag warning today for much of southern New England.

The National Weather Service has placed Hamilton and Wenham, and much of southern New England, under a "red flag warning" today, meaning that critical fire weather conditions are occuring.
Already on Tuesday, there was . On Monday, there was a large fire in the town of Douglas, in central Massachusetts. This is the second red flag warning day in the past week.
The combination of strong winds and low relative humidity will create an elevated fire spread potential, the NWS said in Tuesday's alert.

The red flag warning will remain in effect through 7 p.m. on Tuesday. With sustained northwest winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour, and gusts up to 30 miles per hour, any fires that develop will have the potential to spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning has been banned for Tuesday.
