Thursday, June 23
1:38 a.m. Two arrests were made after malicious destruction was reported at a Gregory Island Road address. Adam R. Jackson, 18, of 69 Bridge St., Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Alexander W. Porter, 18, of 100 Summer St., Manchester-by-the-Sea, were arrested and each charged with being minors in possession of alcohol, damaging and defacing property and malicious destruction under $250. Police said they received a report from Gregory Island Road that two males were smashing mailboxes. Officers Joe Achadinha and Kent Richards stopped the two teenagers and after question made the arrests. Each man was released on $40 cash bail and arraigned in Ipswich District Court on June 23.
