Used Car Lot Licenses and Gift From Gordon

The Wenham Board of Selectmen will meet on Tuesday, December 16, at 7pm at the Wenham Town Hall.

The Wenham Board of Selectmen plan to meet this week to discuss issues on their posted agenda. Click here to see the agenda on the Town of Wenham website.

Among the topics to be discuss are the annual issuance of licenses to sell liquor and to sell used cars in Wenham. The Richdales at the corner of Maple Street and Route 97 has applied to have their license to sell beer and wine renewed. The used car sales applicants are location at:

  1. Burnett’s Garage – 60 Maple Street
  2. Freeman’s Garage – 34-36 Arbor Street
  3. Fallon’s Garage – 233 Main Street

The selectmen will also discuss the awarding of two contracts. One for a firm to assist the town in selecting a new Town Manager and another to review engineering reports related to the proposed low-income housing project on Maple Street.

Other topics include acceptance of a gift from Gordon College to purchase a police car and a report from the town assessor on the new property assessment values for Wenham.

Members of the public are always welcome to address to the Board of Selectmen at the beginning of the meeting on topics of concern to residents.
