Vehicle Hits 13-Year-Old In Ipswich
The boy, who police said was in the crosswalk, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

IPSWICH, MA — A 13-year-old boy struck by a car Saturday evening at an intersection will survive, police said.
The boy stepped onto the crosswalk at Central and Mineral streets when he was hit by a northbound vehicle. He sustained brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old Rowley man, stayed on scene. He was cited for failure to yield for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Police are investigating, but said they do not believe speed or alcohol was involved.
