What's Open, Closed on Memorial Day 2016 in Hamilton-Wenham
Along with town offices and banks, by state law, liquor stores are also closed on Memorial Day in Massachusetts.
Monday, May 30, is Memorial Day, and the holiday means some businesses and other places in town will be closed.
Specifically, Town Hall will be closed in both Hamilton and Wenham, along with liquor stores, which are closed on Memorial Day due to Massachusetts state law. Additionally, the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library will be closed.

- Schools: Closed
- Hamilton-Wenham Public Library: Closed

- Supermarkets: Open
- Convenience stores: Open
- Retail stores: Open at owner’s discretion
- Restaurants, bars: Open at owner’s discretion
- Liquor stores: Closed
- Trash, recycling: Delayed one day
