What's Open/Closed in Hamilton and Wenham This Christmas

Busy streets in America don’t shut down for much, but Christmas is one time most U.S. businesses, governments and schools close their doors. Before you head out for last minute shopping, or to ship a package, check here for a list of what will be closed and open on Christmas in Hamilton and Wenham.
City Offices: Wenham Town Hall will be closed after 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24. Town Hall will reopen for regular hours on Dec. 26. Town Hall will also be closed New Year’s Day.
Hamilton City Offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 1. Hamilton Town Clerk’s Office will also be closed Friday, Dec. 26.

Post Offices: Post Offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.

Trash collection: Trash will not be collected in Hamilton on Thursday, Dec. 25 or Thursday, Jan. 1. Trash collection will move ahead one day due to the holiday.
Banks: Most banks close early on Christmas Eve. Banks are closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Restaurants and Bars: Most restaurants and bars are closed on Christmas, but if you’re willing to make the trek to Boston, click here for a list of places you can go.
Grocery Stores: Most grocery stores close early on Christmas Eve and remain closed Christmas Day. CVS, 15 Walnut St. in Hamilton, will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas.
Schools: Hamilton-Wenham Schools close Dec. 23 to Jan. 2 for Winter Vacation
