What's Open/Closed in Hamilton and Wenham this New Year's

For those who’d rather dine out on New Year’s Eve or will have trash piling up from at-home celebrations, Patch has compiled a list of what’s open, closed and cancelled on New Year’s in Hamilton and Wenham.

Check below before heading out for errands this Wednesday and Thursday.

Town Offices: Hamilton and Wenham Town Offices will be closed on New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1.

Post Offices: Most post offices will close around noon on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Post offices will be closed on New Year’s Day.

Trash collection: Trash will not be collected on Thursday, Jan. 1. Trash collection will move ahead one day due to the holiday.

Banks: Most banks are open on New Year’s Eve. Banks are closed New Year’s Day.

Restaurants and Bars: Many restaurants and bars stay open for New Year’s Eve celebrations. Most will be closed New Year’s Day.
