Hamilton is gathering data through a town wide survey to guide it's future actions.

Town of Hamilton Survey 2016
The Hamilton Board of Selectman in conjunction with the Planning Board, the Open Space and Recreation Subcommittee, the Community Preservation Committee, as well as various other stakeholders invites Hamilton residents to participate in this survey and provide data to help guide town officials on actions to take to keep Hamilton a vibrant community.
This data will help in developing a new Open Space and Recreation Master Plan, provide guidance for zoning by-laws, and in the near future a new master plan for the town. A master plan will help Hamilton manage growth in a fiscally responsible manner and protect our open space and natural resources.

You can help us identify issues of importance to the community by completing this survey. We will be comparing the data collected by this survey with data collected in a 2002 Master Plan Survey. Hamilton’s demographics are changing with over 1,800 (25%) of our residents over the age of 65. We also have had a declining school population over the past years. We as a community need to look to the future of our town so that generations can enjoy Hamilton as we do.
The survey is available on the town website and will also be available in hardcopy at the Town Clerks office and the Council On Aging. The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. Online there is a save and continue later option if you get survey fatigue. Please return your completed hardcopy surveys by mail or drop it off, no later than May 17, 2016, at the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall or the Council On Aging. The online version will close May 17th as well at midnight.
