The best Saturday card show in the Boston area has fully expanded to 12,000 sq. ft. to become the largest in the area. We are bringing in all of your favorite card slingers, about 80 vendors in total from all around New England now with over 900 feet of table space. Roughly 500 ft. of space is sports and 400 ft. is dedicated to Pokemon and other TCG's. We feature the hottest sports stars to One Piece &amp; Marvel at all different price points. Our wide variety of vendors have a little bit to satisfy the needs of just about any collector on any budget, from low to very high end.
The cost to enter at 9 AM is $5 at the door, kids 12 and under are free. Note that those 15 and under are now required to have a chaperone/guardian with them upon entry. The fun begins around 8:30 AM at the Crowne Plaza Woburn hotel with newly extended hours until 2:00. Door prizes as of this writing are still being determined but are always given away in two blocks at 10 AM and 12 PM. We promise to celebrate our fifth anniversary that these will be fun, unique and really good! Here are the goodies up for grabs this month.

The best parking is in the back of the hotel (parallel to I-95) to enter the ballroom from the rear entrance. Contact us if you have any questions. There is currently zero room for new vendors and our waitlist is full. Tickets can be purchased in advance here through OnTreasure to "skip the line". The Bedford Cultural District’s New Song Music Series welcomes contemporary string band Rachel Sumner &amp; Traveling Light for a night of spellbinding music and storytelling on May 16.
Led by singer-songwriter Rachel Sumner (guitar and vocals), with Kat Wallace (fiddle and vocals) and Mike Siegel (upright bass and vocals), the trio is known for rich melodies that blend folk, Americana, and bluegrass.
Sumner, formerly of Twisted Pine, has earned wide recognition, including the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Award (Folk), a Kerrville New Folk Competition win, and the archiving of five original songs at the Library of Congress. As a group, Traveling Light has won the 2023 Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival competition and the 2025 Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest and has been featured for four consecutive years by WBUR/NPR as a top Massachusetts entry in the Tiny Desk Contest.
Critics have praised Sumner’s work for its ability to balance authenticity with fresh perspectives. As folk artist and writer Lindsay Straw noted, her music is “achingly clear and wide open to the world, with twang and tenderness.”

The concert will be held on Saturday, May 16, at Bedford Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way, Bedford. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. for refreshments, with the music beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Bedford Cultural District Presents Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light

The Concord Orchestra presents “The Heavenly Life” at 8:00pm on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 at 2:30pm at the Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden. The orchestra, conducted by Music Director Zeke Fetrow, performs Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with Ann Moss as soprano soloist. A pre-concert talk is scheduled for 7:15pm on Saturday.
Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 is a comparatively short work, lasting less than an hour. The final movement of the symphony is a song “The Heavenly Life”with orchestral accompaniment, sung by a soprano. The words, which come from German folk poetry, are about a child’s naïve view of heaven.
In the three movements that lead up to this song, there are many pleasant tunes and the cozy sound of sleigh bells, but there are disquieting passages as well. For example, the second movement is a lively scherzo, but the principal violin plays an eerie solo that represents the devil’s fiddle. The moving third movement contrasts the serenity of heaven with the struggles of earthly life.
Soprano Ann Moss is an acclaimed recording artist, chamber musician, and champion of living composers. She has been a featured soloist with San Francisco Symphony, SF Chamber Orchestra, UC Berkeley Symphony, SF Contemporary Music Players, Music of Remembrance, and the Ives, Alexander, Lydian and Hausmann String Quartets.

Mostly composed of songs Peter and Jenna wrote separately, the new album and show will also feature a few gems from the Great American Songbook: “Skylark" (Hoagy Carmichael/Johnny Mercer), “Them There Eyes" (Maceo Pinkard/Doris Tauber/William Tracey), and “I'll Be Seeing You" (Sammy Fain/Irving Kahal).
