Abandoned Car, Attack of the Snowballs, and More

January 29

7:40 a.m. - A caller reported a MBTA bus stuck in a snowbank at the intersection of Elm Street and Emerald Street.

8:40 a.m. - A caller on Linden Ponds Way reported that someone stole checks from her.

11:28 a.m. - A motor vehicle driving by and taking photos of a home on Downer Avenue was reported. The vehicle was gone by the time police arrived.

2:52 p.m. - A store clerk at Main Street Market and Deli reported an abandoned and damage motor vehicle behind the store.

2:55 p.m. - A three-car accident at the Hingham Rotary was reported.

4:49 p.m. - A caller reported a group of five males at the intersection of Cushing Street and Plymouth River Road throwing snowballs at passing cars before running into the woods. Police were unable to find the men during a search of the area.
