Emerson College student Louis Roe of Hingham, a Writing, Lit and Publishing major, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester. The criterion to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

The following local students have achieved Dean's Honors, a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.65, or Dean's High Honors, a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.78, for the 2012 fall semester at Connecticut College.
- Caroline Leonard, class of 2016 at Connecticut College and a resident of Hingham, has been named to the Dean's Honors list.

Curry College is pleased to announce that Boston, MA resident Armond Alexander, Jr., son of Yolanda Parker and Armond Alexander has been cast in Curry College Theatre's Spring Black Box production. A 2012 graduate of Hingham High school, he is a Psychology major at Curry. Armond made his Curry Theatre debut last semester in Oz University. He is thrilled to have now landed a role in Christopher Durang's insanely absurd comedy Beyond Therapy.
