• Hingham Approves $86,500 Roundabout Design Amendment (southshore.news subscription) — Hingham's Select Board has approved an $86,500 design amendment to push the Main–Middle–Short Street roundabout project to bid this winter, keeping a $1 million state grant on track. Construction is expected from April through midsummer, overlapping the July 4 parade route and the start of school at Hingham High, with plans to maintain emergency access and parade safety.
   

• First Annual Veterans Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Day Observed at the State House (hinghamanchor.com) — Hingham residents are closely tied to Massachusetts' new Military Service Members and Veterans Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Day, thanks to advocacy by the Partyka family and local veterans leaders. The law designates September 22 statewide to honor veterans lost to suicide and highlight mental health resources, with Senator O'Connor and Representative Meschino representing Hingham at the State House ceremony.
