Northland Residential Corporation is pleased to announce that their community in Hingham, The Residences at Black Rock, received one silver and two gold awards at the Builder Association of Greater Boston's PRISM Awards gala on October 19.
PRISM (Prestigious Results in Sales and Marketing) awards honor local builders, remodelers, designers, trade partners, and sales and marketing professionals for excellence in dozens of areas. Competitive submissions pour in from all over the Greater Boston area, and winners are selected by a national panel of judges.

Northland Residential was awarded eight PRISM awards in total this year for their work spanning three of their communities. Black Rock's three awards included recognition for Best Ssingle-Family home (in a 2,500 to 4,000 square feet range), Best Print Advertisement, and Best Project Manager.
The 3,716 square-foot custom home was thoughtfully customized to accommodate the owner's physical restrictions, and handicapped-accessible features were seamlessly integrated into the home's design. A long ramp from the driveway to the rear deck provides necessary wheelchair access into the home, but was designed to virtually disappear. Thresholds were thoughtfully eliminated to provide smooth transition between living spaces and the rear deck, as well as in the master shower. Artfully chosen custom cabinetry, flooring, countertops, built-ins, and other finishes create a truly individualized home.
