Former Superbowl MVP Spotted in Hingham

John Elway was spotted eating at Alma Nove on Friday evening.

It comes at no surprise to Hingham residents that when famous athletes and celebrities come to the Boston area, they stop and eat at one of Paul Wahlberg's fine restaurants. So just 24 hours before one of the biggest Patriots game of the year,  it was no shocker to find out Chef Wahlberg served one of the most famous NFL players of all time.

According to the Alma Nove Facebook Page, former Super Bowl MVP John Elway was sighted eating dinner on Friday night at the Mediterranean restaurant.

Elway, who played for the Broncos from 1983 to 1998 and is currently the executive vice president of football operations for the Denver Broncos and was in town for their playoff game against the Patriots on Saturday night.

When Alma Nove posted the news on Facebook, one Patriots fan wrote, " He's here for the Broncos.....hope Alma Nove charged him double."

Elway may have had a fine dinner on Saturday, but his visit to Bean Town was spoiled when the Patriots destroyed the Broncos 45-10.
