At approximately 2:00 a.m. while Hingham Officers were still on scene reviewing the surveillance tapes, Quincy Police Officer Stephen Cleary, conducted a traffic stop for speeding on South Street in Quincy.
This traffic stop was made before Hingham Police had notified surrounding communities of the break in. As a result of this stop the Quincy Police arrested all three occupants for unrelated charges including controlled substance possession and outstanding warrants, police said.
Following their arrests, Quincy Officers discovered numerous items consistent with a burglary including piles of bundled cash, by bar, ski masks, a police scanner, three touch phones, and a sledgehammer and a damaged cash box. Dabrolet was wearing similar clothing as seen in the video. Quincy Police called surrounding communities and learned of the Penniman Hill Farm break and Hingham Detectives responded to Quincy Police station. Hingham Detectives obtained arrest warrants for all three occupants and served the arrest warrants in Quincy. Following their arraignment in Quincy District Court they were transported for arraignment in Hingham District Court on Tuesday August 30. All three are due back to Hingham Court on September 28.
Dabrolet is being held on $10,000 cash bail. Hachey on $25,000 cash bail, and Elia was released on personal recognizance.
Penniman Farms was also broken into on August 21. In that incident a similarly dressed suspect is seen on video but fled upon the alarm being activated. These suspects have not been charged with that break at this time, Dearth said.
