At 10:49 a.m. a caller reported a vehicle struck the guard rail on Route 3 and then got off Exit 15 and was sitting at the intersection of Derby Street and Recreation Park Drive. At 10:51 a.m. a caller at the Old Ship Parish House reported that she found a used firecracker and a burn mark by the building.  The caller requested extra patrols at night. At 8:32 p.m. a caller at Bed Bath &amp; Beyondreported a $600 vacuum was stolen.  Police were called to review surveillance video. At 9:45 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle hit a house on Colonial Road and the entire house shook.  Police who arrived at the scene determined that a motor vehicle backed into a pole by the home which shook the entire home.
