Hingham Police is offering a free night out in a 10 passenger limousine to help decrease the chances of drinking and driving.

To sign up, all you have to do is go to the Hingham Police Department website and take the pledge to be a designated driver. The deadline is Friday, Jan. 2.

If you do it right, you can win a night out in a limo.

With New Years Eve celebrations coming up, Hingham Police urged residents to take the pledge on the Hingham Police Facebook page.

Take the online pledge to be a designated driver here.

A designated driver is someone who is completely sober and does not drink any alcoholic beverages, Hingham Police said.

Several Hingham businesses are more than happy to provide free non-alcoholic beverages to the designated drivers for the night. Check out the Hingham establishments that support and participate in the Designated Driver Program.
