Bill 'Spaceman' Lee and Former Boston Athletes Coming to Hingham
The Spaceman along with former Super Bowl winner Jermaine Wiggins will be at Sunday's game.

Former left-handed pitcher Bill “The Spaceman” Lee helped the Boston Red Sox reach the 1975 World Series. On Sunday, he looks to help the Hingham Police Department raise money for their Drug Awareness Program which helps pay for the DARE program's books, utilities, pizza parties and other events.
Lee along with former Red Sox pitcher Jim Corsi and former New England Patriots players Jermaine Wiggins, Vernon Crawford, Garin Veris and Derwin Williams will play in a basketball fundraiser against Hingham police officers, teachers, and student athletes.
Last year, Lee provided a lot of humor for fans by wearing a bright red- bathing suit style shorts, taking off his shirt during the pre game warm-up and doing funny stretches before the game.

“I’ve been drinking with these cops for over 25 years, I want to see if they’re still alive,” Lee joked with a laugh before the game. “I’m good, I have a lot of fans…basketball is my true love.”
Wiggins, who is a radio host on 98.5 The Sports Hub an East Boston native was also entertaining. Numerous times he tried to get the Hingham All Stars to pass him the ball and create a turnover. Wiggins, who won a Super Bowl with the Patriots during the 2001-02 season, said he made the trip to Hingham last year for the first time.
