A VISION

A VISION

Today I saw a vision,

Of a boy grown into a man.

It is hard to realize the time that has passed,

We want to keep him young, if we can.

Now he must learn how to live.

I pray for him to know my God,

And forget the cares of this world,

Where Satan tends to rob.

The road to God is narrow,

But the path to destruction is wide.

God will urge you to take His path,

But the devil, Gods Plan, tries to hide.

The things the world calls fun,

Are things a man does not need.

The devil is always tempting you,

And offers things to help and feed.

The things he will feed you,

And things that lead astray.

You eat enough of his things and,

You will be sorry at judgment day.
