What a week! From the shock of the tragic happenings at the Boston Marathon on Monday, to the emotion of Boston Proud during the National anthem at the Bruins game, to a day like today. A day like no other in our history which led to the lockdown of several towns and the MBTA, a day of incredible in trepidation, all ending with jubilee, a result of spectacular work by law enforcement to bring the reign of terrorism by these two suspected terrorists to an end.

This all happened because of the spectacular work by law enforcement and the incredible co-operation from the public. This is why we are Boston Strong!

I personally worked in cooperation with law enforcement on a daily basis throughout the week; I could not be more proud and impressed with how they interacted with the public and with how the many different branches of law enforcement worked together for the good of public safety along with the investigation and apprehension of the perpetrators of Monday’s tragedy.

Every penny of taxpayer money that has been spent on training for an event such as the event we have all just witnessed; just paid off with interest.

To find two relatively unknown people who orchestrated such heinous acts and bring the fluid situation to a conclusion is such quick time is incredible in my book and high credit to how law enforcement worked so diligently and in unison.

I salute the members of law enforcement who were on the front lines of today’s events along with those that were not so visible. Job well done!

Thank You!

Boston Police, Mass State Police, Watertown Police, FBI, Transit Police, Coast Guard and many more that I do not know of.

We will forever remember the victims of the incredible tragic events of this week. Let us not forget what an outstanding job law enforcement has done working together to keep us safe!

If only our politicians in Washington would learn from this type of co-operation, imagine what this country could do then!

Boston Strong!
