DUSTING

There are things in life that matter.

There are things we should forget.

Remember to brush your teeth.

Have you dusted your room yet?

Now a boy's room is his hangout!

A place for friends, toys and things.

But dusting is not a priority,

Nor does it satisfaction bring.

Other things are top priority.

Today or tomorrow dusting is a chore.

But Mom insist it be done this minute.

It cannot wait a moment more.

But tomorrow his room will be empty.

Only occasionally will his presence be.

Why do you let the dusting go?

Now that it is left up to you and me.
