STRAY CATS

STRAY CATS!

I have these stray kittens,

That come to my back door.

I feed them, but they do not go away,

They sit and look inside, hoping for more.

When I step outside,

With the cat food in my hand.

They scatter and run away,

But they always come back again.

It is their nature,

They are a homeless breed.

They do not need petting,

Just someone to feed.

They do present a problem,

I do not know their sex.

But the next thing I will see,

I am sure I will be vexed.

I do not need more cats to feed,

Would you take them off my hands?

If some way is not found to control them,

They will take over our land.
