Tuesday, February 28th, I'll be at the Weymouth Public Library!
Q and A with a speech pathologist....I'll discuss appropriate developmental milestones and when an evaluation is necessary.

On Tuesday night at 7:00, I will be at the Weymouth Public Library talking about "How to Idenntify Speech, Language, Literacy or Social Delays in Children".
Participants will be educated on the developmental milestones for speech, language, literacy and social communication. The presentation will also cover when to be concerned if a child has not met the aforementioned milestones or has shown regression in any of the areas. Is the child a late talker or is there a developmental delay? Shy or decreased social skills? Is stuttering normal in a preschooler? These areas and more will be covered. There will also be a time for questions after. Feel free to bring your child's IEP if you have questions about goals or objectives that are written.
Of course I will talk about how amazing animal assisted therapy is what a joy it is to see my therapy dog and guinea pigs bring smiles and joy to children, while learning! :)
