WHY I WRITE

Why I Write

God has given me a task,

To share His Word in rhyme.

I do not fully understand why me, Lord,

But I gladly take the time.

Some may not understand,

Just how this came to be.

My words are not too eloquent,

They are simple just like me.

I have a helper when I write,

He helps me gather a thought.

The Holy Spirit points the way to go,

To write the things I ought.

The things of God you need to know,

You must find in God's Book.

If your bible is gathering dust,

It is proof you did not look.
