Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham earns deficiency-free status

The Executive Office of Elder Affairs, Commonwealth Massachusetts, awarded Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham deficiency-free status.

The Executive Office of Elder Affairs, Commonwealth Massachusetts, awarded Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham deficiency-free status during its 2014 survey for assisted living communities. The department conducts unannounced, bi-annual surveys of all assisted living facilities in Massachusetts to assess compliance with state standards of care, including staffing levels, protection of resident rights, quality of nursing care and facility cleanliness.

Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham met or exceeded state standards in every category. The deficiency-free ranking is a testament to the high standards of service and care provided for the seniors residing at the memory care community.

“This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated staff,” said Alicia Seaver, executive director of Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham. “I am thrilled that they are being acknowledged for their commitment to our residents and the quality services they provide.”

These surveys are useful tools for prospective and current residents, as well as their family and health care practitioners, to make informed choices about the quality of an assisted living community.
