Crain said he was "very pleased" with Brown's views on social security and is believed that the current Massachusetts Senator promises will not raise taxes for seniors.
The Hingham resident also said he was impressed that Brown mingled with the residents after taking questions.
Brown’s visit comes just a month after his opponent Elizabeth Warren spoke to LP residents about her views on the November election.
The Linden Ponds’ Political Interest Group, made up of all residents, invited each senate candidate to the Hingham senior community.
Political Interest Chairman Marty Saunders said the visit benefits each candidate, as the majority of Linden Ponds residents are registered as Undecided or Independent.
Linden Ponds has 324 registered Democrats, 185 registered Republicans and 586 registered voters who are not affiliated with either party, according to Saunders. The senior living community also has voting booths right on its campus and sees an 87 percent voter turnout from its residents.
