The Company Theatre's Special Events Series Presents Tapestry: The Carole King Songbook
An energetic and heartfelt performance of Carole's greatest recordings
The Company Theatre’s 2016 Special Events series presents a special tribute concert Tapestry: The Carole King Songbook, on Saturday, January 9 at 8 pm, at The Company Theatre for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell.
A recreation of an iconic 1970’s Carole King concert; Suzanne O. Davis and her touring band give an energetic and heartfelt performance of Carole’s greatest recordings. You will not want to miss this performance if you are a fan of Carole King and the Tapestry album. “I really like to have fun and talk ‘with’ the audience about the history of the songs,” shares Davis, “I think people want to feel that we’re all sharing these moments together… and we are.” The performance features audience favorites, including “I Feel The Earth Move”, “Tapestry”, “One Fine Day”, “You’ve Got a Friend”, “It’s too Late”, “Beautiful” and more.
Davis and her band give an energetic and heartfelt performance of Carole’s greatest recordings. Davis’s career has taken her across the globe from the Middle East to Texas to Cuba performing as a keyboardist, vocalist, and tribute artist. She has toured in production tribute shows to ABBA, Fleetwood Mac and Chicago, and shared the stage or served as opening act for America, KC and the Sunshine Band, Taylor Dayne, Eddie Money, Orleans, Gary Puckett, The Village People and BJ Thomas.
