UPDATE: Derby Street Shoppes Celebrates Spring

The DSS will hold two weekends full of fun games, crafts and a cupcake sale.

UPDATE: Due to weather conditions, Derby Street Shoppes will be moving the event indoors to Unit 103, next to Chipotle Mexican Grill.

The Celebration will take place on Saturday, March 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hidden Pond behind the

Children who attend will take part in an egg hunt, egg toss, bunny hopping, an obstacle course ‘Pin the Tail on the Bunny’, and will get to create a spring craft.

All of  the games include giveaways and prizes.

Derby Street Shoppes will also hold a spring event next Saturday, April 7 with a cupcake sale and a visit from Roberta Bunny.

The Spring Cupcakes, from White’s Pastry Shop, will be sold for $2.00 per cupcake or $10.00 for a half-dozen. Supplies will be provided to customers to decorate their cupcakes.

All proceeds from the Cupcake Sale will go to Germantown Neighborhood Center in Quincy.

 “It is important to the Derby Street Shoppes to help out the surrounding community,” Niamh O’Maille, DSS Marketing Coordinator  said in a written statement. “Every dollar counts for the Germantown Neighborhood Center in the neighboring town of Quincy. We hope that the Hingham Community will enjoy tasty cupcakes from White’s Pastry Shop.”
