The Driscoll Agency Brings Distractology 101Hingham High School
Mobile Classroom and High-Tech Driving Simulations Educate Young Drivers Firsthand on the Dangers of Distracted Driving
Driscoll employees, Jane Driscoll Henesey and Trisch O’Neil, were at Hingham High School to promote Distractology 101, a simulator used to teach new drivers about the dangers of texting while driving.
Distractology 101 is an interactive program developed by the Arbella Insurance Foundation. The campaign features a 36-foot-long, mobile classroom outfitted with two high-tech driving simulators designed to give new drivers the chance to experience the perils of distracted driving, including texting while driving.
Students are given a $15 gas card to participate in the simulator and Driscoll footballs were distributed to 300 Hingham students. Both Henesey and O’Neil are parents of Hingham students.
