Save yourself time and pre-register for the beloved, annual Marathon Sports 5K Hingham Turkey Trot to be held on Thursday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 a.m. The event is dedicated to providing a fun and fulfilling Thanksgiving Day road race to benefit the Boys and Girls Cross-Country and Track &amp; Field programs of Hingham High School which collectively involve over 300 students. The race is 3.1 miles and starts at Hingham High School (17 Union Street in Hingham, MA), continues through Wompatuck State Park and finishes back at the High School. There is electronic timing at both the start and finish of the race. Turkey Trot participants are also asked to bring a canned or boxed food item for the Hingham Interfaith Food Pantry to help those in need during and beyond the holidays.Pre-registration is strongly recommended because the Turkey Trot has drawn up to 1800 runners and walkers and sold out in the past few years.
