Election Results: Fifteen Percent Voter Turnout Reelect O'Donnell and Rabuffo

The Hingham Town Election decided contested races for Selectman, Moderator, Planning Board and School Committee.

In Saturday’s Town Election, the voters of Hingham made a clear choice in the Town Moderator race, choosing incumbent Thomas O'Donnell by a margin of 1182 votes.  O'Donnell took 1726 votes compared to Michael Salerno's 544 and Bernard Manning's 128  votes. The one-term Moderator spot was expected to draw the closest race, yet in the end O'Donnell won by a land slide.

The Planning Board was the closest of the four contested elections, with Gary S.  Tondorf-Dick beating out Alan M. Kearney by 270 votes and taking 50.8 percent of the vote.

In the Selectman election, incumbent Bruce Rabuffo will remain on the board after he took 1654 votes compared to Manning's 551 votes.
