Our upcoming exhibit will feature new paintings of local scenes of Abington artist Dianne Panarelli Miller. The exhibit will be on display starting Friday, October 7, and ending on Thursday, November 10, 2011. The opening event with the Artist will take place on Friday evening, October 7, from 6 to 9 pm. Dianne will offer portrait sketching for the public at the Gallery during the Hingham Arts Walk on Sunday, October 23, from 12 to 4 pm. Visitors are encouraged to chat with the Artist, view her exhibited work, and pose for a quick sketch, with an option, but no obligation, to purchase the result. The cost of the work will start at $100. Sketches will be done in oil paints.
As a one-time-only offer, Dianne will be available to be booked during the month of October to do “Alla Prima” portraits (3-hr sitting) for only $500.00, regularly $1500.00. Deposit is required.

Dianne Panarelli Miller is an award winning Boston based "Plein Air Painter" of color and light and is a signature member of the New England Plein Air Painters and a "Copley Master". Her approach combines the classic atelier training of the "Boston School", a mastery of technique with her own personal style expressed through the harmony of color and design. The original Boston School way of painting seeks to combine the truth of impressionist color with good drawing, sound composition and skillful paint handling.
