Family Concert Rocks the Conservatory
Kids got out of their seats and danced to the music of Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkey's on Wednesday morning at the South Shore Conservatory.
Kids danced, jumped up and down, made animal noises and tickled each other during Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkey’s musical performance at the on Wednesday morning.
“We’re big fans of Vanessa’s,” said Katy Barrett who sat in the front row with her two children Liam, age 5, and Sophie, age 3. “My kids listen to her music all the time.”
Trien’s performance brought children out of their seats. Some danced, others clapped while everyone shared a good laugh during her “tickle monster” song.

“It’s fabulous and wonderful to have an afternoon event like this for kids,” said Nancy Weidenbach a nanny of SSC student Axel Pena.
The concert was part of the South Shore Conservatory’s summer series, Evening Under the Stars. The Conservatory’s next musical performance will be Friday at 7 p.m. when Berklee Stars singer/songwriter Cameron Galpin performs. Tickets for the Friday night Berklee Stars at SSC concerts are $10 may be purchased online at http://www.sscmusic.org/berklee_stars.html.
