Five Hingham Students Receive Scholarships From Linden Ponds

Linden Ponds raised over $100K in scholarship money for recent high school graduates who worked at the Hingham retirement community.

community  came together last month to raise  more than $100,000 for scholarships that were presented to 25 students  across the South Shore.

Among scholarship recipients were one Notre Dame Academy and four Hingham High School seniors. Linden Ponds raised money by hosting a , and Jeopardy game to raise funds.

The Linden Ponds Scholarship Fund is for student employees who plan to attend a college or accredited trade school beginning fall 2011.  The students need to have worked at Linden Ponds during their junior and senior year and put in 1000 hours of work.  Those students will receive a total of $4,000 over four years of college.
