Bunny Breakfast

Get ready for an early Easter celebration this weekend with a Bunny Breakfast on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.  in the Hingham Rec Game room at the Town Hall.  There will be doughnuts, bagels, coffee, juice, and crafts.  There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny.  The event is organized by the Hingham Mother’s Club.

 Attend a weekend sporting event Saturday morning..  The Hingham High girls varsity track team will play at  Notre Dame at 9 a.m.

 Old Ship Coffeehouse Music

On Saturday, April 16, the Old Ship Coffeehouse off the Square will feature Kim and Reggie Harris. The Harris's are musicians and storytellers that will combine a strong folk and gospel legacy with a solid background in classical, rock, jazz, and pop music. The event is at 8 p.m.  and admission is $12 at the door at the Old Ship Church’s handicapped-accessible Parish Hall, 107 Main Street.

A Sense of Place: The Stone Walls of New England

 Professor Robert Thorson will present A Sense of Place: The Stone Walls of New England on Sunday.  Thorson, the director of the New England Stone Wall Initiative, leads a one hour walk locally. Reservations are required and participants should meet at 10:30 at HPL and are invited to bring a bag lunch to the library after the walk. At 1 p.m.  Professor Thorson will also present a slide program and lecture. Limited seating on a first-come basis.
