Get Out This Halloween Weekend: October 27-30
Costume Contests, Trick-or-Treating, Ghost Hunting, Town Election, and Flu Shots are all in Hingham this weekend.
Special Town Election: Get out this weekend and vote in Hingham. Residents will vote on the new Middle School and High School Fields Project. The polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and a list of polling location for the different precincts can be found HERE.
Haunted Rides: Get out this weekend for some scary Halloween events. Bring your kids to the This family fun event is free and only requires a donation to the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Beware of ghosts and monsters who may jump out from the woods and Hidden Pond.
Costume Contest:Get out Saturday and enter your kids into ’s Halloween Costume Contest at the Derby Street Shoppes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be free cookies for the first 50 entrants and 3 winners will receive a free meal.
Costume Parade and Trick or Treat: Get out Sunday and attend the biggest costume Parade in Hingham. will host a Kids Costume Parade at 3:30 p.m. before Trick or Treat at Derby Street Stores from 4-6 p.m.
Ghost Hunting: Get out this weekend and talk with the dead. Maybe it’s a deceased friend or ancestor that’s around you that you want to get back in touch with… now’s your chance. On Saturday at the Hingham Public Library at 9 a.m. adults and children can attend “Dowsing Your Ghosts,” and will get the chance to connect with those who have passed. Dowser Mary Donalds will be holding this event and will teach guests how to connect and feel the spirits around you.
Doggie Costume Contest: Get out for a HowlOWeen Costume Contest at at the Hingham Shipyard. Enter your dogs in this pet-friendly costume contest on October 30 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. will also hold a pet nutrition class tonight, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. Both events are free to the public.

Live Entertainment at the Snug: Get out this weekend for some live entertainment at the Snug Pub. Accoustic guitarist John Foster will perform live on Friday at 9:30 p.m. The Snug will also be playing the Bruins/Canadiens game that night.
Flu Shots: Get out and get your flu shot. The Hingham Health Department Flu Clinic will be Saturday at the Central Meeting North Room of the Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All Hingham residents over age 18 are welcome. Please bring your insurance card.
