Spring Walk
Get out this Saturday for a Spring Walk. The Hingham Land Conservation will meet at the end of Scotland Street and walk by potential land acquisition parcel proposed for purchase through the Community Preservation Act. Tour guide, Steve Ivas, a professional environmentalist who has led several fascinating walks for the land trust in the past, will lead resident in search of spring ephemerals.
Lecture by Native American
Get out Thursday for a free lecture on the prayer, Mitakuye Oyasin. Native American Joseph Marshall will discuss how this vision of reality is the basis of Lakota spirituality as it is practiced now. This free lecture will start at 7:15 p.m. a the Conference Center.

Young Adult Book Group
Get out Saturday and take your teens to the Young Adult Book Group at the The group is reading the science fiction classic, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Students interested in participating can pick up a copy of the book in the children's department any time the library is open - and then join the group for a meeting on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
