Get out to Thursday night and take a class to learn how to make homemade Easter Peeps from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Interested participants much register before the class by calling 781-740-1876. The cost is $25 per person.

Annual Good Friday Walk

Get out this Easter Weekend and remember the death of Jesus Christ. Abington resident Kay Doherty is again inviting people of all different faiths to join her on Good Friday, for the 41^st annual Good Friday walk.  Walkers may begin anytime from 7 to 9 a.m. from the  The route is 20 miles from the school through the inside of All walkers are requested to obtain a minimum of $20 in pledges on their sponsor sheets. Walkers under the age of 18 are also required to have their sponsor sheet signed by a parent or guardian. First Fridays with Artisans in the Square

Get out Friday for the First Fridays with  from 5 to 8 p.m.   Residents are invited to the Hingham Square gallery for refreshments while they get a chance to meet artists and discuss art work.

Beat the Bunny 5K Road Race

Get out this Saturday and try to at the Wompatuck State Park at 10 a.m..  There will also be a one-mile fun run. Beat the Bunny participants can register at http://www.active.com/running/hingham-ma/beat-the-bunny-5k-2012.  Registration cost $25 for the 5K run and $10 for a one mile fun run.

Cupcake Sale

Get out this Saturday for a spring cupcake sale at the This event will run from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the beside the The Spring Cupcakes, from White’s Pastry Shop, will be sold for $2.00 per cupcake or $10.00 for a half-dozen. Supplies will be provided to customers to decorate their cupcakes.

Easter Sunrise Service

Get out for a special Easter Sunrise Service. The First Baptist Church in Hingham invites the public to come gather at the Hingham Harbor Gazebo in the early morning light for a joyful reminder of the empty tomb. Dress casually and join this celebration. The service runs from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
