Get Out This Weekend: July 19-22

Musicals, movies, concerts, and snow all in Hingham this weekend.

Outdoor Free Movie

Get out tonight and take your date, kids, or friends down to the am theater at the Hingham Shipyard to watch Ferris Beuller’s Day Off.  The free outdoor movie will be showing right beside the Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and a blanket tonight as no seats will be provided. The event starts after dark.

Music at the Conservatory

Get out Friday night and watch the Summer Music Festival Final Concert at the at 7 p.m.  If you can’t make it, come back on Saturday night and watch The Bill and Bo Winiker  jazz band.  This concert also starts at 7 p.m.   Tickets are available here: http://www.sscmusic.org/evenings_under_the_stars.html.

Old Jack at the Shipyard

If you will be dinning at the Shipyard Friday night, get out and enjoy a free outdoor concert at 7 p.m. Old Jack will be performing.

Musical Nights

Summer outdoor concerts will also be held at the on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.   A teen jazz quartet, the Jazzy Business Combo will perform on Friday and the Atlantic Symphony flute duo will perform Saturday.

Snow in Hingham

Get out Saturday morning for a doggy snow day.  Residents are invited to bring their dogs to from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  where there will be an outdoor snow play area and doggy ice cream.

Farmers Market

Get out to the Hingham Farmers Market this Saturday in the Bathing Beach Parking Lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mini Golf & Bocce

Get out Friday- Sunday at the Hingham Shipyard and play in the playground, play a game of mini golf from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. or rent out their bocce ball set and play on their new course for only $2.
