PMC Kids Ride
Get out this weekend and support the PMC South Shore Kids Ride. The annual bike-a-thon for cancer will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, June 10 at the DCR , 204 Union Street. There is a $50 fundraising minimum. PMC Kids Rides are sponsored by Stop & Shop. Contributions can be made payable to the Pan-Mass Challenge. Register your child to ride as space is limited to 500 children. The event also needs volunteers, ages 12-112. Register today at: http://kids.pmc.org/Hingham.
Paragaon Park the Musical Fundraiser
Get out this Sunday for the "Paragaon Park the Musical" fundraiser at Hidden Pond behind Derby Street Shoppes. The event begins at 5 p.m. Sunday and features live music and entertainment, cocktails, and a live and silent auction. The evening also promises to be an extravaganza showcasing the finest talents of The Company Theatre & their newest production, Paragon Park. To RSVP, call 781-871-2787.
Scooper Bowl

Get out Thursday and head to City Hall Plaza in Boston for the annual Scooper Bowl. This event is the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival which will offer not only ice cream, but frozen yogurt, and sorbet from ten of the nation's leading ice cream companies. All of the money raised from the event will benefit the Jimmy Fund.
Birthday Party for Homeless

Get out Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the as the Hingham Mothers’ Club will host a birthday party fundraiser to collect birthday gifts for the Boston-based charity Birthday Wishes. The charity, founded in 2002, brings the magic of a birthday party to thousands of homeless children each year.
Grade 8 Activity Day
eighth graders and their parents are invited to get out Friday evening for the Grade 8 Activity Day which will include a cookout, Grade 8 DVDs, laser tag, hamster balls, moonwalks and more.
Derby Academy Graduation
Get out Friday for ’s eighth grade graduation. The ceremony will include an all-school music concert beginning at 9 am, followed by a parade (weather providing) that marches from campus down Fearing to The parade begins at 10:30 am, followed by graduation services in New North Church. The guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. Nancy S. Taylor from Old South Church in Boston, which should begin at approximately 11 a.m.
Saturday's Farmer's Market
Get out to the Farmer's Market on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hingham Bathing Beach. The market offers fresh produce and local goods from a variety of different vendors.
