Get Out this weekend at the . is once again launching its annual Family Adventure Program with a party at Hidden Pond in the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham. You and your family are invited to this fun family event on Sunday May 15(Rain Date May 21).  The highlight of the event will be the Camp Cooking Challenge featuring the best chef’s from Burton’s Grill and as they vie for the title of Champion in the Second Annual Camp Cooking Challenge. The chef’s will prepare recipes highlighting one summertime ‘secret ingredient’ provided by .  The event will take place at from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m

Get Out on Saturday and attend the .  Last week was opening week and it was a hit.  The Farmer’s Market  is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bathing Beach on Route 3A.

Aladdin in Boston

Get Out to Boston this weekend. This Friday, "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" will be playing  at the Wheelock College - Boston Campus: Wheelock Family Theatre. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m.  For more information, please contact 617-879-2300.

Boston Bruins Playoffs

Get out for the game this weekend in Hingham. The Boston Bruins will be playing in the Eastern Conference Championship for the first time since 1992. That was when Ray Bourque and Cam Neely lost to Mario Lemieux and the Pittsburg Penguins.   There are several bars in town including the Hingham Beer Works at the Hingham Shipyard and the Summer Shack at the Derby Street Shoppes that will be airing the Bruins game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at 8 p.m. on Saturday night.

Artists Festival at Old Ship Church
