Lincoln Maritime Center Fundraiser

Get out and support the Lincoln Maritime Center  as it will be holding their annual fundraiser on Friday at the Black Rock Country Club from 7-10 pm. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres, silent and live auctions, live band and a cash bar. Tickets are still available for sale at $50 each. Field Hockey Tournament Game

Get out and support the Girls Field Hockey Team today in their playoff tournament game.  They will play against Falmouth at 2:30 p.m. at home. The Field Hockey team has been seeded sixth in the Division 1 South Sectional tournament. For a bracket, CLICK HERE.

Donate Winter Clothes

Get out this weekend and donate your old winter clothes to those less fortunate.  Cradles 2 Crayons is in the middle of their "Gear Up for Winter" campaign which calls for 15,000 winter coats, 12,000 hats and gloves, 8,000 winter boots, and 35,000 warm outfits.  Make room and your closet and drop off the clothes on Saturday  from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Resurrection Church located on 1057 Main Street .

Linden Ponds Artisan Fair

Get out Saturday and experience the arts at s annual Artisan Fair. Hundreds of people are invited on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Artisans, who live at Linden Ponds, and others will display and sell their handmade jewelry, paintings, holiday ornaments, handbags, candle votives, and more items. The public is welcome.

Young Adult Book Group

Get out Saturday and take part in the young adult book club at the from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Young adults will read and discuss The Maze Runner by James Dashner.

Community Service

Get out  and serve your community.  Any teens looking for Community Service Hours should head to and  volunteers to help with some bridge work and general trail clean up on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.  To participate head to the Visitors Center on Saturday morning.

Holiday Book Drive

Get out and donate books at Barnes & Noble. in Hingham is now holding their annual Holiday Book Drive until Jan. 1. Each week Barnes & Noble’s employees donate collected books to Cradles to Crayons based in Brighton. Last year Barnes & Noble, Hingham, donated 2,471 books and this year they are aiming send even more.

Wine, Steak, Entertainment

Get out this weekend for some juice sirloin steak and some rich wine at   Thursday and Friday nights at Tosca are Tosca 'Steak House' nights. The restaurant, located directly across from Hingham Harbor offers a choice of five different steak dishes served w ith a variety of five different sauces.  On Friday and Saturday Tosca has live entertainment in their wine room.
