The magazine ranked the Hingham course, 89th in the country, tied with Old Sandwich Golf Club in Plymouth. Boston Golf Club, designed by Gil Hanse, opened in 2004.  The relatively new course has never made the magazine's top 100 before. Other Massachusetts courses that made the list included The Country Club in Brookline, ranked 16, and the Kittansett Club in Marion which tied for 64. The Augusta National Golf Club, where the Masters are currently being played, ranked number 1 for the second straight year.
